Makler Counting Chamber (With Gridded Glass)

The Makler Counting Chamber is the shallowest chamber compared to conventional hemocytometers. Constructed from two pieces of optically flat glass, the chamber features a cover glass with a 1 sq. mm fine grid. This grid is subdivided into 100 squares, each measuring 0.1 x 0.1 mm, and is firmly held in place by four quartz pins.

The Makler Counting Chamber is easily rinsed with water and wiped with special lens paper for reuse. Its design ensures spermatozoa are uniformly distributed and monolayered, and allows direct analysis from the specimen without dilution. The 10-micron depth suits photomicrography and speeds up analysis, making it ideal for busy laboratories.
